焼締め鉢　Yakishime bowl

かたちは、お坊さんの食器からです。このかたちがとても好きです。

水を入れると、自然釉がぱっと浮かびあがり鮮やかに見えます。

ぱっと浮かびあがるって英語で何て言うんだろう。誰か教えて下さい。

The form is from buddhist monk's bowl. I really like this form.

If you fill the bowl with water, you can see natural ash glaze more clearly.
