Which is front or back?  どっちが表か裏？

Actually surface of chawan ,I like quiet ,calm side.But sometimes people don't understand it.　※I got the chawan wet a little.　

やっぱり茶碗は、静かな面が好みです。あんまり分かってもらえないのですが。※茶碗は少し水に濡らしています。
